Instructions for Preparing the Application for Federal

Discussed
herein is a proposal to "establish centers to provide (or |
|
arrange
for) comprehensive services to children, their families, and
others |
|
who may be
involved in instances of child abuse and neglect. |

these
centers will be to initiate a wide range of activities and carry out |
|

the
functions necessary for identification, prevention, and treatment of
child |
|
abuse or
neglect, including: investigation, assessment, treatment, referral, |
|
follow-up,
education, supportive services, and coordination with other agencies |

for
services," as stated on page 1 of the referenced Announcement. |
