A career in Office Technology promises rising salaries and more status and opportunities than ever before.  The need for office workers is increasing as the business community grows. 

As an Office Technology professional you can choose from a variety of working environments. Office technology services are needed in nearly every field. To name a few: government, legal, medical, technical, sales and marketing, manufacturing, travel, entertainment, accounting, journalism, education (schools), automotive, fashion, insurance, law enforcement, banking, and data processing. 

With your Office Technology skills you can choose to work in businesses ranging in size from sole proprietorships to multi-national corporations. You can even start your own business!

In the Office Technology Department you have choices:

Many Office Technology classes are Open Entry/Open Exit —-some courses can be taken one unit at a time—so, you can take courses as part of a program major or individually to develop specific skills.
