Web Curriculum

Program Overview

Solano College is proud to be one of the first community colleges in California to offer a comprehensive Web curriculum that includes the following:

All of Solano’s Web certificate and degree programs are available both online and in traditional face-to-face classrooms.  The Solano classes are taught by faculty members and industry professionals who are highly esteemed instructors that are actively involved in the development and promotion of industry standards for the Web. And of course, as is true with all of Solano’s courses, the classes are small enough that the instructors have time to give students personal attention.

The classes use current technologies, standards, software, and equipment. Solano College is a WOW Academy and the course content is designed to map to established WOW associate certification programs. The course content is continually reviewed by Solano faculty to ensure its currency and adherence to WOW standards. Further, the Web Administration degree and many of the certificate courses are transferable to the California State University system.

Admission to Solano Community College is open to anyone who is a high school graduate, has the equivalency of a high school diploma, or is at least 18 years old and shows evidence of being able to benefit from instruction.
